Dr. Emily Burns joined Riverview Dental Associates as a full time dentist in July of 2019. Emily received her doctorate of dental medicine from the University of New England in 2017 and has been practicing in the Portland area since. Prior to studying dental medicine, Emily studied international relations and worked in law and environmental studies at Stanford University in California.

Dr. Burns enjoys treating both children and adults and providing restorative and esthetic care. Emily is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Maine Dental Association. She is excited to join the Androscoggin Valley Dental Society and to learn more about the area and people she serves.

During her free time, Dr. Burns enjoys spending time with her husband and their 6-year old son. She also enjoys kayaking, gardening, horseback riding, fishing, and hiking. When not at work, you can find her outside.

She can’t wait to get to know the people in the Auburn area and help them with their dental needs!

Dr. Jeff Dettori

Dr. Dettori graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University in 1992. He did his residency at Ruby Memorial Hospital in West Virginia.

Dr. Jeff decided to move to Maine in 1995 to be closer to family. He has been providing our patients with exceptional general dentistry for 24 years. When he’s not serving our patients’ needs, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and is an amateur radio operator. He is also our resident sushi expert.

Dr. Lauren Gallant

Lauren was born and raised in Westbrook, Maine, and she graduated from the University of New England with both her BS in medical biology and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Gallant enjoys treating patients of all ages and providing compassionate restorative and cosmetic care. Aside from dentistry, she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family at the lake.
